This video/audio matrix switch is ideal for distributing audio and video in classrooms, at exhibits, tradeshows, demonstrations, and for multimedia presentations. This matrix switch enables the broadcast of multiple computers' audio and video outputs to multiple displays. Any input can be broadcast to any or all of the outputs; simultaneously display an image from any connected source to any connected monitor.

For example, if you connect four computers and four monitors, you can show the same or a separate image on each monitor. The 3.5mm audio outputs can drive either speakers or earphones.

Built-in video signal enhancement lets you place monitors up to 164 feet away while maintaining your video quality. Switch between computers via push buttons or use the included infrared remote control for PC selection up to 6 feet away. From use in test bench facilities, data centers and help desks to video broadcasting, the TruLink video/audio matrix switch delivers both performance and value.

The TruLink Wireless Digital Signage Distribution System (WDSDS) enables video with stereo audio to be distributed and synchronized wirelessly across multiple displays. The 802.11a/g wireless capabilities allow easy installation of digital signs in locations where running cables is difficult. For added flexibility, the WDSDS can be used in wired mode that utilizes standard Cat5/6 cables - ideal for situations where you need to place the monitors long distances from the media player. The WDSDS supports up to 32 screens wirelessly or can be used in wired mode to support up to 1,000 screens. The high degree of flexibility and ease of setup allow digital signage displays to be placed virtually anywhere.

The WDSDS can be used in wireless modes in two ways. It can be used as its own private network for simple plug-and-play setup, or it can be placed on an existing network as its own isolated segment. Because the WDSDS is ethernet-based, users can use their existing network infrastructure* and inexpensive off-the-shelf networking hardware. The Transmitter distributes data only to the network where Receivers are connected via the network interface select feature; this avoids distribution to other networks in order to reduce network traffic. Plug-and-play functionality enables the transmitter and receivers to automatically detect one another, and that makes installation and setup quick and easy!

Note: *This system uses standard ethernet network infrastructure allowing digital signs to be connected using network cabling and equipment that is already installed in a building. It is strongly recommended that WDSDS be on its own isolated network segment.

Outputs: DVI-I Female, Serial DB9 Male, RJ45 Female, Dual RCA Audio Female

For general information, view Digital Signage Solutions view the product manual.

•The WDSDS system does not support devices that require HDCP. Examples include some Blu-ray and DVD Players.

•Some consumer level TVs only support certain resolutions like 480i, 480p and 720p. Only a digital HDMI or DVI source device should be used with the WDSDS transmitter when this type of TV is used. See the chart on page 12 of the manual for supported resolution information.
